Privacy Policy for HabitProTrainer

1. Overview
HabitProTrainer ("the App") is a standalone Apple Watch application with no companion iPhone app, developed by Thilo Voissel ("I", "me", or "the Developer"). Your privacy is important to me. This Privacy Policy explains what data the App collects, how it is used, and your rights regarding that data.
The short version: HabitProTrainer does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data with me or any third party. All data stays entirely on your Apple Watch.
2. Data Collected and How It Is Used
Habit and Goal Data
The App allows you to create personal habits and goals (names, completion dates, streak counts). This data is stored exclusively on your Apple Watch using Apple's standard on-device storage (for example UserDefaults and, where used, App Groups on the watch only for widgets and complications). It is never transmitted to any external server, and I have no access to it.
Notifications
The App may request permission to send local notifications to remind you of your habits. These notifications are generated entirely on your Apple Watch. No notification content is sent to or processed by any external server.
In-App Purchases
The App offers optional premium purchases (a monthly subscription and a lifetime purchase) processed entirely through Apple's App Store. I do not have access to your payment information, credit card details, or billing address. Purchase transaction data is handled solely by Apple in accordance with Apple's Privacy Policy.
Widgets
The App offers watch face widgets and complications that show your habit and streak data. Data needed for those surfaces is shared between the App and them using Apple's local on-watch mechanisms (such as App Groups). No data leaves your Apple Watch.
3. Data I Do Not Collect
- No personal identification information (name, email, address)
- No location data
- No analytics or usage tracking
- No advertising identifiers
- No crash reporting sent to third-party services
- No health or fitness data from HealthKit
- No data transmitted to any external server
4. Third-Party Services
The App does not integrate any third-party SDKs, analytics tools, or advertising networks. The only third-party interaction is with Apple's App Store for processing in-app purchases, which is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
5. Children's Privacy
The App does not knowingly collect any data from anyone, including children under the age of 13. Since no personal data is collected at all, the App is safe for users of all ages.
6. Data Retention and Deletion
All habit and goal data is stored locally on your Apple Watch. You can delete all app data at any time by removing the App from your Apple Watch. I have no copies of your data and cannot delete it on your behalf.
7. Changes to This Privacy Policy
I may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
